Dr. Gadhave represented our lab at two back-to-back international meetings in France from late June through the second week of July 2026. At the\u00a0European Congress of Entomology in Tours, he presented our work on\u00a0RNAi-based approaches for managing thrips and tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV). He then participated in the\u00a0Hemiptera-Plant Interactions Symposium (HPIS) in Montpellier, where he presented research on\u00a0using machine learning to understand the geographic expansion of the corn leafhopper\u00a0and\u00a0RNAi-based targeting of the greenbug. These presentations highlighted the lab\u2019s ongoing efforts to integrate molecular and computational approaches to address emerging challenges in insect pest and plant disease management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
