Common Four-O’clock can be found growing in various soils of the Edwards Plateau region. It was introduced to this area when it was cultivated as an ornamental and escaped. It is a multi-branched shrub that can reach a height of 3 feet. It has large trumpet-shaped flowers that vary in color from pink to purplish-red to white. Common Four-O’clock can be seen blooming during the spring and summer.
