Jimson Weed can be found in various types of soil of the Edwards Plateau and South Texas Plains. It is an upright annual from perennial rootstock growing two to four feet tall. The entire plant is covered with small, spreading hairs. The leaves are eight inches long and have an asymmetric base. The large white flowers are eight inches long and bloom from April to October. Jimson Weed is considered to be poisonous.
