Narrowleaf Spiderling can be found growing on rocky bluffs and limestone hills of the Edwards Plateau and South Texas Plains. It is a low forb growing from a taproot and reaching a height of 11 to 35 inches. The leaves are long and narrow to lance-shaped with a length up to one inch. The edges of the leaves tend to roll under and the surface is dotted with hairs. The flower is 1/4 to 1/2 an inch wide and varies in color from purple, red-purple to magenta or pink. Narrowleaf Spiderling blooms in the spring and summer.
