Paleseed Plantain, Hoary Plantain

Pale-seeded Plantain can be found growing in various thin soils of the Edwards Plateau region. Although it is a native to Texas, it is more commonly found in East Texas and has been introduced to the Edwards Plateau region. The flowers are found in spikes and have four white or yellowish petals. The leaves are lanceolate or elliptic and are at the base of the plant. Pale-seeded Plantain blooms from March to June.
