Wild Vervain is an upright annual plant that reaches a height of 6-12 inches. The flower head consists of pink to lavender flowers that are 1/8-1/4 inches in diameter and a compressed fruit. A white flower is seen in Verbena pumila form albida. Its leaves are 3/4 to 1 1/4 inches long with incised lobes. Wild Vervain is found in both the South Texas Plains and the Edwards Plateau regions, and blooms from February to April.
