Yellow Evening Primrose can be found in the Edwards Plateau in open sandy or rocky areas. It is a bushy to erect shrub that is approximately four to nineteen inches tall. The leaves are linear and up to three inches long. The flower is yellow and blooms from April to July. Yellow Evening Primrose is of good forage value to livestock, but only fair for wildlife.
