Texas Grama has bell-shaped seeds, larger than those of Sideoats Grama. It grows five to twelve inches in height and sprouts in disturbed areas of the South Texas Plains and the Edwards Plateau. It will flower April through November, depending on weather conditions. Texas Grama has poor economic value for wildlife and livestock.
