Season : Warm

This grass is wide at the seedhead base and narrows at the top. Plains Lovegrass grows in dry, sandy, clayey, or rocky soils of the Edwards Plateau and South Texas Plains. It flowers June to November and has poor forage value for wildlife but good forage value for livestock.
