Dr. Gadhave Presents Lab Research at Two International Conferences in France

kiran.gadhave · July 8, 2026 ·

Dr. Gadhave represented our lab at two back-to-back international meetings in France from late June through the second week of July 2026. At the European Congress of Entomology in Tours, he presented our work on RNAi-based approaches for managing thrips and tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV). He then participated in the Hemiptera-Plant Interactions Symposium (HPIS) in Montpellier, where he presented research on using machine learning to understand the geographic expansion of the corn leafhopper and RNAi-based targeting of the greenbug. These presentations highlighted the lab’s ongoing efforts to integrate molecular and computational approaches to address emerging challenges in insect pest and plant disease management.
